God/dess Page

Goddess....maiden, mother and crone. We revere her as the mother aspect and protector. She is known as Gaia (the earth), Arianrhod (water and the stars), Brigid (the fire), Nut (birthing creation), and Kali (the destroyer). Welcome to our God/dess library. This is an ongoing labor of love, so kindly have patience with the librarian. I'm constantly adding deities. *G* I'm covering almost every religion, but my favorites will always be Moon goddesses. (They have taken on many names through the centuries). To the Greeks it was Selene, daughter of the Sun, who later became Artemis, the Moon and Nature goddess. The Romans adapted this figure and named her Diana. In Hindu mythology she was Soma, while the Shinto Japanese called her Tsuki-Yomi, in Egypt she was known as Isis. The links below contain both Gods and Goddesses.
